Registration Procedure

To request a web site for your unit, please follow the procedure below.

Is Your Unit In This Council? Your scouting unit MUST be a member of the Orange County Council and be up-to-date in its charter.

Are You A Registered Adult In The Unit? You MUST be a registered adult member of the unit you're requesting a web site for. Registration as a Tiger Parent is not sufficient and does not qualify. A member of the unit committee (MC) would be sufficient.

Review The Web Site Policies You must agree to abide by the web site Policies of this council to have a web site hosted by us. Those policies are posted on this web site and you should review them before filling out the request form. If you submit the Web Site Request Form and have not read the policies and subsequently do not maintain the site in accordance with our web site policies, your site will be removed from the server without warning.

Fill Out The Web Site Request Form Fill out the request FORM available on this site. You'll find it on the Forms menu. Your registration will be checked and you will then be notified by Email and given additional instructions regarding publishing and access to your site. Please note that the password you choose on the form must not be related to scouting, the charter partner or be anything of a personal nature. Names of pets, kids, etc are bad choices because they're easily guessed. Passwords that are easily guessed will cause the form to be rejected.
