It is the desire of the Orange County Council that all web sites published under any domain owned by this Council will adhere to the highest standards within the framework of the programs of the BSA and this document. Sites are offered free of charge with the understanding that policies will be adhered to. Webmasters who feel these policies are too strict are free to have their web site hosted elsewhere.
The final decision on the publishing of material is up to the Council Information Technology (IT) Director. The Orange County Council BSA reserves the right to change these policies without notice. Council also reserves the right to review web sites on the OCBSA server as required to insure that these policies are being met. Webmasters who feel they cannot conform to the requirements of this document shall request the removal of their sites from the Council server.
As we are in a shared-hosting environment technical support to maintain the server is the responsibility of the hosting service. Hundreds of other domains are being hosted on the same server and this may impact response at times. It's also possible that the server may be down for maintenance or other issues beyond our control.
