The posting of personal information such as phone numbers or addresses should be carefully protected and not made available on the Internet. Webmasters should obtain permission before publishing information of this nature.
This is also true in reference to youth, especially at the unit level. Use only the first name and the first letter of the last name (i.e.; John C. or Bruce M.) when identifying youth members.
The final decision in regards to the posting of pictures of youth and other private information, rests with the parents. If a parent wishes that their child's picture not be posted, then the decision of the parents must be adhered to. Care should also be exercised in the protection of Email addresses and not post them without permission.
