Web Space Allocation
Submitted by Admin on Thu, 02/07/2008 - 11:10pm
Unit Web sites are allocated 200 Mb of web space. District sites are allocated 500 Mb of storage space. Webmasters are encouraged to exercise common sense in the publishing of material. Keep photos, graphics, and other size-intensive items to a reasonable size. If additional web space is needed webmasters may, at their option, embed a Google Picasa photo album into a page of their web site. This will permit the posting of a larger volume of photos that will not add to the limit we offer.
If you still require additional space you may request a review of your web site by submitting the Web Site Request form. In the comments box enter your reason for the increase. Your site will be reviewed and if it is determined that you are not just hosting a large volume of out of date information, your site will be increased as follows;
A unit site may be increased up to a limit of 500 MB. A District Level or Committee Site may be increased up to a limit of 1 GB.
Please be prepared when requesting a review, to justify your reason for the increase.
