Hit Counters
Hit Counters are not permitted.
The main objection is that they are off-site counters and have a negative impact on the response of the server. They do little good in reporting the actual effectiveness of a web site as all they do is count the number of views of the page. This doesn't report the pages viewed, which is the most important aspect of a site report.
